Cakes

Elysia Root Cakes creates cakes for weddings, birthday parties or any special occasion that calls for a cake.  We do not have set prices since all of our cakes are unique, and customized to you.  Each cake is a custom creation and our starting price per slice (the basis for pricing used by most bakeries) is $6/slice and increases depending on the complexity of the design.  Add $0.50/serving for Premium Filling Flavors.  Remember, serving your guest a great slice of wedding cake is the equivalent to serving them one of the finest plated desserts in a fine dining restaurant.  We have a minimum of $275 for all orders.  

Additional sugar work such as gumpaste flowers and fondant figures are priced separately.  Other factors that add to the price include cake sculpting, gumpaste decorations, detailed piping, painting, airbrushing, or other time consuming design elements, and delivery.

Cookies & Cupcakes
We also offer decorated cookies and cupcakes to complement your cake order or to use as wedding favors. At this time, we do not offer standalone cookie only orders and/or standalone cupcake only orders unless your order is for 8 dozen or more.  Please contact us for corporate ordering information.

Cookie pricing is dependent on the size and shape of the cookie and starts at $2.50 each.  Add $0.50 for bag & ribbon. 

Cupcakes are $30/dozen (1 flavor/frosting combination per dozen) – additional decoration such as gumpaste flowers and fondant figures is available – please contact us for pricing.

It is important to us that your wedding cake be exactly what you want.  Therefore, we limit the number of orders we accept so that we can give each cake the attention it deserves. Our calendar gets filled quickly, especially May through October.  We recommend that you make an appointment for a wedding cake consultation as soon as you've secured the date and your venue.

A 50% deposit is required to hold your date.  All cakes must be paid off in full with cash, check, debit, or credit card at least one week before delivery date, or the order may be cancelled.
